Remote monitoring and management tools help us to monitor client endpoints, networks, and computers remotely. Depending on the specifics of your environment and additional managed services you may purchase later, we may need to install a few tools on the devices you would like monitored and/or managed.
These tools, often referred to as agents, send that endpoint’s device data to our management system. This information can include machine status, machine health, network information and more. We define rules in our management system based on your needs and preferences. From there on, the management system and the agent on your device continuously communicate. The moment a machine, application or user engages in an action not following the rules, the system will automatically generate a Help Desk ticket for one of our engineers to look into. This alert triggering system occurs real time as long as your device is powered on AND connected to the internet.
Generally, there is always at least 1 machine in a professional environment that is always on. These particular machines get additional monitoring definitions allowing our management system to know what is going on with your inner networking devices. Additionally, with emerging technologies and cloud integration, we are now able to identify very quickly when your Internet Service Provider may be experiencing issues.
